FAQs

What is Oxygen?

Oxygen is the most abundant element on earth, comprising a full 90% of water, around 21% of the non-polluted air around us and 2/3rd of the human body.

Oxygen gas is colorless, odorless and tasteless so you will not see or taste anything in the compressed air containers.

What's in the compressed air in my POD?

The POD™ contains about 2 liters of 95% oxygen and 5% nitrogen in the oxygen bottle.

Are POD's analyzed for purity?

Yes. Each production run is tested by an independent laboratory to ensure that the POD oxygen you breathe is of the highest caliber.

Is the POD™ oxygen bottle safe for use by individuals with breathing conditions such as asthma?

A POD™ is for recreational use only, and is not a medical device. It should not be used to treat or cure any medical condition. If you have a breathing condition such as asthma or if you suffer from any condition requiring oxygen regulation such as congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, or COPD, please consult your physician before using the POD™.

Can I take POD™ on the plane with its compressed air?

In the US, Federal Aviation Administration does not allow passengers to take compressed canisters on the plane with them. Please check your airlines' website before you travel.

If you would like a POD™ at your destination, GO2 is able to deliver to any residential or business address in the US in advance of your arrival.

Do I need to keep my POD™ away from flames?

Despite its classification as a non-flammable gas, oxygen can be a fire hazard if not stored properly. It has the effect of accelerating fire growth when exposed to an open flame, because fire requires oxygen to live (just like us!). The canister should therefore be kept away from any and all open flames, from cigarette lighters to bonfires. See the product warning for additional information.
